Join me as I enjoy day 20 of chemo with a bag of Cyclophosphamide, in-tandem with a litter of saline. (Doesn’t that sound intoxicating?)
Thankfully, this is my final day of this cycle. Round 5 starts up in a couple of weeks.
Please continue to pray for me.

Dear Dee, A poster from a long time ago had a picture of characters taking giant steps with giant legs. I was in high school; you were still really young!
Feel strong. You are not alone. You can do this, with laughter and everyone’s prayers. “Keep on truckin'” 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zIUJFYqVgg

Hi Dee,
We have all been thinking of you and waiting for this round of chemo to be O-V-E-R!!! I know you must be resting because I haven’t seen much video-blogging… Get strong soon! Sending prayers and hugs to you from the great Northwest. Denise

Based on my past experience with breast cancer, I completely expected that I would “crack” around cycle 4. Just keep plastering that hole with prayers and hugs. We’ll get through this.

Thanks Liz. Being covered with prayer is the BEST medicine to combat the cancer (and side-effects of chemo). I am convinced that there are days when prayer is the only way I make it through the day.

Your strength and style are inspiring. You, and your family, are in prayers from Chuck and I. This too shall pass. Continue your walk and talk with God, as He holds your hand and embraces you with His arms.

Dear Dee,
I’m continuing to pray for best results through this whole schedule of treatments. As an integral part of your family, Jeff and your three sons need you. I know you have extra strength for them… and also for continuing to share your friendship, hope, and faith with those around you. Big hugs.

Thanks Joan. I am trying to mentally prepare for my last cycle, which starts in about 10 days. For some reason, this seems harder than the first time. Please pray that this is the LAST time. I’m getting tired.
